Welcome to Jeremy King Photography. By trade I am a computer programmer, but I took up photography more than 10 years ago when I got my first camera. A 1970’s era Vivitar film SLR. Now I shoot purely digital. My interests range from formal shots to landscapes to abstract art.

Basic sessions are $40 for a 30 minute session and $75 for an hour. If travel is required, fees will depend on distance needed to travel. When ordering, you will notice that some images will need to be cropped. I’ll attempt to explain why that is. All cameras have a sensor size of 3x2. If you double each of those sides (2x2 and 3x2) you get an image that is 4x6 in size. No cropping needed. But what if you wanted a 5x7 photo? There is no way to get from 4x6 to 5x7 without cropping off some of the image. Say you want to go bigger. If you double the sides of your 4x6 (4x2 and 6x2) you get an 8x12 and not 8x10. So you’ll need to crop of a portion of the 8x12 to get your 8x10.

I hope that helps clear up why some images need to be cropped and others do not.
